Last Wednesday, we had four AFL teams compete at the Paul Kelly Cup, one of the largest primary school AFL competitions in NSW. It is a round robin carnival with each of our teams in separate pools playing teams from other NSW schools.
Our teams are to be commended for being great sports throughout the day, for their behaviour and enthusiasm no matter whether they were winning or losing. All teams played to the best of their ability and put in 100% effort in all their games.
In the girls’ competition, our Senior A and Senior B teams played each other, as both teams were successful in winning their pool competitions. It was a hard fought match but victory went to our A team on the day.
The Senior Girls’ A team will now compete in the regional finals of the competition next term. We wish them all the very best in their upcoming matches. Many thanks to Mr Duff, Mr Ferguson and Mr Cleary for accompanying the teams and supporting the students throughout the day.
