Mimosa Public School's mission is 'foundations for the future'.
This mission statement is defined by 9 vision statements:

The strategic plan has provided clear direction to all of our programs encompassing the work of teachers, children and parents. The strategic plan has also provided an important context for the enriched curriculum, which is an important feature of our school and is a tool for which excellence is achieved and motivation sustained.
