Mimosa students participate at Northern Beaches Primary Schools One-Day Tournament

On 7th November, six of our students took part in the Northern Beaches Primary Schools One-Day Chess Teams Tournament at Mona Vale Public School. All students represented the school admirably showing respect towards the organisers and other competitors.

It was their first time competing and they should be congratulated on a successful day! Thank you to Irene Wong who took on the role of team manager for the day, your help is truly appreciated.

Our Friday afternoon Chess Club has been running successfully for two terms now and the students are certainly making great progress with their skills and knowledge of the game.
